James:
Hi. Welcome to living my Faith. I’m James Fenimore. Today we’ve got a very special treat for you. Joining me is Sid McNairy. Sid, how are you?

Sid:
I’m doing great. How are you doing?

James:
Good. Thank you so much for joining us today. Really appreciate it for sure. So we start the show. One simple question. It’s how are you living your faith? So, Sid, how do you live in your faith every day?

Sid:
You know, everything that comes into my life. I mean, faith has guided me since I was three years old and had a surgery that took me back to the light. And so even beyond faith, for me, it’s knowing right? Like the voice spoke. It doesn’t matter really what anybody says. I know there’s a voice beyond this place that we are here on earth, so I have faith in it in every way. So that’s how I live it.

James:
That’s wonderful. And having spoken to, you know, a little bit about you, I also know you, you do a lot of work with your faith or bringing people where you say peace. And I love that. Can you talk a little bit about that?

Sid:
Well, you know, it’s really. Peace is the essence of trust to God. Right. Like when it comes down to it. But yet everyone is able to receive that word because, you know, it’s almost like the word God has gotten a bad rap from people and how they express it and, and even faith because people are like, yeah, does that really make sense? There’s science, there’s this, that, and the other. But everybody knows they want peace and really wants that. Peace is connected and there’s access to God’s love.

James:
How, how do you go about helping people find that peace? Offering God’s love with that peace?

Sid:
Yeah. You know, first, I think we’re all born into that, right? Like God is speaking to us through our feelings like we know as a baby this feels good or this does not. And so it’s easy to be guided in that sense. So getting people first to listen to themselves and really go in and say, okay, where can I find it inside and that brings forward that level of peace.

And then we have a lot of different tools that help somebody strengthen that and, and grow with it, whether it’s meditation, which is meditations and part of listening, you know, or is listening to God is part of the communication where God speaks, you listen. I mean, it really comes down to that. And then, adding into just moving your body.

I think everyone really the more aligned I am in my body, right? It talks about honor, the temple, the temple that’s housing my soul, which is your body. So the more my body is aligned to that place, the more I can access the alignment to peace. And then many other things, you know, self-discovery, all these different books that I’ve written, all different ways for people to look into that.

James:
Let’s be clear. All these different books is how many?

Sid:
12. 12.

James:
Okay. And how many years?

Sid:
Well, nine of them came in the last six years.

James:
This is incredible. I mean, you’re you’re you’re clearly putting the word out there and methodologies that that to really help people. I just thank you so much. You know, as you’re talking about the process for to help people. One of the things that popped in my head was having to maybe unlearn some some things, some some way.

Do you find that with some of your clients that maybe unlearn things?

Sid:
I mean, if we really had known love right now, it’d be a different world. So that’s pretty much everybody in some way created. We go through a process that gets someone to a point where it’s like, all right, here you’re strong characteristics and know that you built those out of fear.

James:
So you’re almost built on a faulty foundation right from the jump. Yeah. Wow. And what could happen to you if you find that that’s where you’ve built your house of cards on, so to speak?

Sid:
Yeah. I mean, it really comes down to I like to describe it like back in the day, remember that you seem like you’re close to my age. They used to have fleas on a dish at, like, the circus, and the fleas would go nowhere. Well, you train a flea. You train an elephant. Train an elephant ties back ankle to a stake. It’ll circle, circle, circle and never leave the circle of the ring top again.

Why? Because they did that same thing with a flea. A flea hits its head on the top. So when whatever created this space that we build ourselves out of fear, it’s already limited. Because as soon as the fear kicks in, we stop. Wow. And so access and taking the lid off, which is how we help people get to then all of a sudden you have unconditional love of God to guide you forward. So that’s where it shows up.

James:
It’s almost like you got to break it down and that’s where you can start building people back up. You’re reminding me of the, the you ever see the video of the circle around the ant and the like? You draw a circle and the ant will go anywhere. But then once one ant finally goes down, they all just follow their hands. I guess I can’t make fun of them, but like, So after after you kind of. I don’t wanna say break them down, but kind of remove all those.

Sid:
Well, they’re usually in a breakdown, right? Like they’re, they come to me because they experience I don’t have peace. And as soon as that experience happens then it’s like, okay, in order for us to move beyond this, the way to a breakthrough is a breakdown. And that breakdown is why they come. And then there’s a breakthrough accessible.

James:
Because usually when the greatest testimonies are formed as well. So for the people at home that have an experienced breakdown, what are some signs? Maybe that they might be going kind of towards that breakdown. Then maybe it’s time to start eliminating some of these, fearful elements of their life.

Sid:
They’ve probably already experienced that. But what happens is it’s like at some point they start to move into this place where it’s an experience of it’s getting further and further away. Health risk. Right. Like stress in the body, 98% of the disease in the world is from stress. And so they’ve already experienced the stress. When you get to the doctor you’re actually pretty far away from not realizing that you’ve actually lost that.

So I think that’s a big one as health issues start to show up, you know, which that covers the gamut. But then there’s also just the mental stability. You know, you get into places and you’re reactive. Well, that’s because you’re not actually at peace. You know, no one at that truly has 100% peace is going to react when they’re driving in their car because someone just came in front of them.

James:
I told you, I told you I was from New York before this, so obviously you’re talking to me. I get it, I get it. I really love some of the tips you’ve given us, like the meditation aspect of it, quieting down to hear God. I know how important that is. And but what you just said, I think nails it for so many people.

The reaction, you know, we’re so quick to react. I mean, we live in that kind of a world, right? You get an email, bang, you got to answer it right now. And just slowing your mind and seeking guide and seeking that discernment, is that something you find is absolutely right.

Sid:
I mean, regardless of what people want to call it. Because, you know, people can. I don’t care what religion may come from a different word, that’s a word. But there is something that started everything. None of us went inside of a woman and made ourselves a baby. Like made ourselves into this baby that became me. So that’s a miracle in the beginning.

Like very, very from the start, something else created me. And so that knowing that, then I can say, okay, well, all right, I’ve gone. In 2016, I went paralyzed. 2022 I went blind for the second time because I have that level of faith and because I trust in the process of what I needed to go through. I’m here, walked in, I can see all those different things and that’s accessible for people.

And, and, you know, sometimes people think, just because I am so faithful, I don’t believe in Western medicine when it’s appropriate, you know, and too much of anything is just too much. So I don’t think anybody should have a pill. It should be the rest of their life, unless there’s something dictating that. And maybe if they went back to the thing that created them, they would stop anyway of that.

James:
That’s an idolatry of medicine sometimes. Like it’s okay, but when it’s the first thing you go to, maybe it has the wrong seat in your heart. Said, I can’t thank you enough for joining us. This has been really great. Is there anything you want to tell everybody before we wrap up here?

Sid:
Well, I mean, people can pick up, contact me and SidMcNairy.com. They can also go to any social media, look up Sid McNairy.

Unknown:
And then pick a book. That’s your story. Grab a book. And to the heart, look inside.

Sid:
I think that’s a big thing for people right now is when I talk about the practice, it’s not me doing the work for everybody. Everybody has to get on the mat or whatever that looks like, as well as being willing to. You’ve got to be number one. So and also be number two. And as it says in the book, to a more agreeing my father’s name, so it shall be. But you got to be number one.

James:
I love it, I love it, I mean, guys, you just heard him paralyzed blind a second time. Pick up a book. This guy, this guy has some faith. Thank you so much for joining us. It really is. It really is an amazing opportunity to talk to you today. Thank you.

Sid:
Thank you.James:
Well, this has been living my faith. I’m James Fenimore. I can’t wait to see you next time, guys.
